Mr. Curtis "Butch" Lee Flood, 57, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2010. He was born March 7, 1952, the son Cassie Ruth Scales Flood and the late John Eddie Flood.
He was a 1970 graduate of Martinsville High School. He was employed at Martinsville Novelty until he became disabled.
He was preceded in death by: his younger sister, Susan Flood; and his wife, Doretha Martin Flood.
"Butch" leaves to cherish and remember his life: one daughter, Shelia Reich, of Maryland; three brothers, Glenn Flood, of Texas; Johnny D'ytanon Flood, of Martinsville, VA; and Anthony Flood, of D. C.; two sisters, Joan Marie (Harry) Jones and Bonnie Ruth (Donnie) Koger; both of Martinsville, VA; his uncle, Clyde Scales, three favorite nephews, Antonio S. Flood, harry L. Jones and Ashley O'Neil Koger, all of Martinsville, VA; and other nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Hines Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.
