Mr. Edward Leon Inge, 58, of 10 High Street, Martinsville, Virginia departed this life on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born, July 25, 1951 in Martinsville a son of Charlie J. Inge, Sr., and Elizabeth Grant Inge.
He was a former employee of E. I. Dupont and was currently employed at NylStar in Martinsville, Virginia. He was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Ministry and the Transportation Ministry.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Elizabeth G. Inge, of the home; his father, Charlie J. Inge, Sr., of Martinsville, Virginia; one sister, Brenda Inge, of the home; two brothers, Charlie J. Inge, Jr., and Alfred Earl Inge, Sr., both of Martinsville, Virginia.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at St. Paul High Street Baptist Church with Rev. William A. Shackleford, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Garden in Martinsville.
