Mrs. Louise P. Carolina, of 628 Fayette Street, Martinsville, VA, daughter of the late Russell C. Penn and Alverta Hylton Penn, was born on February 3, 1950 in Patrick County, VA. At the age of 59, she departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2009. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen P. Neblett.
She was united in marriage in December 1979 to the late Johnny Carolina. To this union three daughters was born.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Vonda Penn, Alethea Carolina and LaTasha Carolina, all of Martinsville, VA; two sisters, Susan P. Hairston and Hester P. Scott, both of Martinsville, VA; two brothers, Bailey G. Penn and Robert T. Penn, both of Martinsville, VA; one brother-in-law, Herbert L. (Connie) Carolina, of SC; a loving friend, John Hairston, of Martinsville, VA; one grandson, five granddaughters, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Hines Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.
