Margaret Louise Williamson King, daughter of the late Lawson and Laurinda Davis Williamson, was born on December 16, 1942, in Bassett, VA.  She departed this life on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Veronica Denise Stanley, one god-daughter, Tillwanza T. Taylor, four brothers, Jesse Ben, William Lee, Thomas Edward and James Douglas Williamson.

She retired from Bassett-Walker in 2002 as a seamstress for 31 years.  She was a member of St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as Associate Minister, Secretary of the Sunday School and President of the Missionary Circle.

She leaves to mourn, her faithful and loving husband, Roy Akers King, of the home; one daughter, Vanessa Devionne Manns, one step-daughter, Valerie (Clifton) Hill; three sons, Donald Maurice, Leroy and Dustin (Stormey) King, two god-daughters, Felecia Tonnetta Greer and Marcella Claudette Barner, four brothers, Lawson Earl, Jr., Joe Louis, George Cecil and Clyde Melvin Williamson; two sisters, Mary Belle James and Carolyn Inez Williamson, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at The Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bishop MacDaniel Preston as Eulogist.  Burial will follow in the Ross-Davis Family Cemetery in Bassett, VA.
