Tiarra Niyasia "Pinky" Millner, was born in Richmond, Virginia at the Medical College of Virginia on July 28, 2002 to April Irvette Millner. Tiarra and her mother moved to Martinsville after her birth and then later to Charlotte, NC. Just two months ago, she and her mother returned to Martinsville to live. Tiarra Niyasia went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2010.
Tiarra was a friendly, caring and very loving little girl who had packed so much of her special spirit in her short time with us. She especially liked to spend time with her grandmother and she loved to swim. The entire Albert Harris community, where Tiarra was a very popular second grader, was impacted by her being one of thei students even though she just recently enrolled there. Her neighbors and friends of all ages also knew just how special she was.
Tiarra was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother; Loronia "Redd' Millner, her great-grandmother; Martha "Bunch" Millner and her great-great-grandmother; Lucille "Posse" Millner. She was also preceded in death by gandma, Ocie Largin.
She is survived by her mother, April Irvette Millner. Also surving are her paternal grandparents, Elder and Mrs. Denzell (Anita), (Nana Neat) Kellam; great-grandparents; Bishop and Mrs. Robert (Christine) Kellam, all of Martinsville, VA; one uncle, Tylon W. Townley; two aunts, Danesha and Tamiya Kellam, both of Greensboro, NC.
In addition, she leaves to cherish her memory, grandma Naydene "Butch" Wells and grandpa Harry Lee Wells, of Martinsville, VA; PaPa Sam Willie Largin, two special aunts, Regina Largin and Renee Largin, and a special uncle; Bernard "Puff" Largin, all of Martinsville, VA. Her memory will be cherished by a host of other cousins, family and friends.
